Having diabetes doesn't mean that life has to stop.  In fact, it drives many people on to greater success.

This is the part of the website where you can tell us about the things you have done.  Written a story?  Painted a picture?  Won a competition?  Tell us about it and we'll post it here.

The best way to let us know is by e-mailing us at childrenwithdiabetes@ggc.scot.nhs.uk.  You can attach any pictures or files to your e-mail that you'd like us to show to others.  Who knows, you might inspire someone else!

Thumbs-Up from Mitchell:

When Mitchell came to the new First Floor Diabetes Clinic Area recently - wearing his colourful NHS-inspired rainbow mask! - he was happy to give it a big THUMBS-UP!

Holl's Vlog:

Holly's not only happy to tell people what she's been doing, she's made her own YouTube channel!  She wants to show everyone how she fits diabetes into her active lifestyle.  If Holly has a philosophy, it's that having diabetes shouldn't stop anyone from enjoying life while still being in charge of their blood sugars.

Why not have a look at her Vlog and see what she's been up to!

Eilidh's Fundraising Pictures:

A budding artist, Eilidh used her amazing talents to help raise money for the JDRF.

To celebrate 100 years since the discovery of insulin, the JDRF challenged people to raise money for them by doing the "100 Challenge."

As a family, they did running, walking, bouncing and rugby challenges.  Eilidh herself did 100 drawings, some of which she has shared with us here.
